Neighborhood Stabilization Program

The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) is a component of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).  The CDBG regulatory structure is the platform used to implement the NSP.

NSP grantees develop their own programs and funding priorities.  The Purchase Area NSP is structured through the Purchase Area Development District (PADD).  The PADD obtained funding from the $37,408,788 allocated to Kentucky to construct eight homes in McCracken County.  Two of these homes are currently under construction in the Fountain Avenue Neighborhood.  They are being constructed at 1316 Madison Street and 1415 Madison Street.  Mr. David Hargrove with the PADD will need to be contacted at (270) 251-6158 for eligibility and the process for purchasing these two homes.
